- Move to a safe place if you can and switch on the hazard lights
- Stay out of live traffic lanes, and stand away from the road when it is safe to do so
- Note your exact location, vehicle make and model and whether the car is running or non-operable
- Tell the operator about any damage, a locked wheel or a low vehicle so the right rig is sent
Emergency towing is pay-as-you-go: a base hookup fee of $35–$150 plus $2.50–$7.00 per mile. Winch recovery for a non-running vehicle is quoted when you call.
